About the corset: Wonder Waist Corset is knitted in one piece from side to side, meaning you start and finish on the back. First, st are cast on with Tyrkish cast on. Afterwards, you knit in the round on 2 needles. On the back piece you do increases and “faux corset wires”. After this, you shape the right cup and then the left with decreases, increases and faux wires. Lastly, the left back piece is made.In the start and finish edge st are picked up for the i-cord edging with holes in it and as the very last step an i-cord string is knitted and mounted in the corset.

corresponding to under-bust circumference of: 60-70 (70-80) 80-90 (90-100)
About sizes: If you’re in between sizes, it’s recommended to size down. Each size can be done with a smaller cup (Cup size A-B) og bigger cup (C-F)
Measurements:
Length of the corset (ie circumference): 50 (60) 70 (80) cm when lightly stretched.Length can be individualized with the tie-strings.
Height measured midt-bust and front: (14) 15 (17) 19 cm, but easily adaptable (see pattern text)
Materials:
Knitted in double strand of either Jawoll or Jawoll silk by Lang Yarns. You need: 3 (3) 4 (4) skeins. If you want a very long corset, add an extra skein.
Gauge: in stockinette stitch (st st) with double strand thread on a recommended 3.5 mm needle: 21st*30-32 rows. 30, when lightly streched.
Recommended needle size: 3.5 mm circular needle. It’s important that you have two needles of the same size, as you will need this in the pattern.
Techniques:
Increases:
inc-r: From the back, lift the loop between two stitches with your left needle and knit it.
inc-l: From the front, lift the loop between two stitches with your left needle and knit it through the back loop.
Decreases:
k2tog: k 2 together
k2togtbl: k 2 together through the back loop
SSK: slip one stitch knit wise, k1, lift the first stich over the just knitted stitch as if you were closing it off. Short rows: it’s recommended to use German Short Rows (GSR).
Cast on and off: Tyrkish cast on, backwards loop method and kitchener stitch in open work. If need be, wathc a video of the techniques.

Difficulty: Skilled
